Must Have…Bar Carts

{bar cart, Studio7, 817.731.0706}

I have been on the hunt for the perfect bar cart for our house.  I found these two that I really like out shopping one day; I love the look of the chrome, it’s so modern.

My friend in LA suggested next time I am there we should hit the flea markets (I have always heard they’re amazing but didn’t discover my love of vintage/resale until recently); she always finds interesting things…

I went on a remodeling rampage a couple of months ago and after selling majority of our furniture ran out of steam (it was significantly more time consuming than I had envisioned).  Then I began my busy season for work with traveling, etc, and lost focus.  Although, in the next month of two I’m hosting an engagement party so I am hoping to re-ignite that focus.

I do have a gorgeous array of cocktail glasses, so maybe after a drink (or two) no one will care about the lack of seating…

New Obsession…Studio7 Gallery

This is my new treasure hunting spot in the city… it’s eclectic and super mod.

The owner, Danny Lee, carries retro bar ware he finds on his travels around the US.  My mom just bought these adorable little mid century glasses for The Boyfriend’s birthday that the owner found on one of his trips to Palm Beach (this purchase might have been a little more for me…).

I have had an obsession with pop art since I was younger and adorning the walls are the most amazing digital paintings by Sarah Green (my fave is the Betty Page).

And while he stocks the best bar ware, he also carries vintage eye glasses and cases.  I wish I hadn’t just bought my Ray-Bans but I did get the perfect case.

If you around the area definitely drop in Saturday for Fall Gallery Night, he is serving martinis and that always makes for a fun party (too fun usually).

Non locals, check out his FB page for pics and info.
