Yesterday.
Even thinking about it gives me a headache. I began my day trying to plan some travel in the south, and finally five hours later looked up from my giant map, cross eyed and agitated. Don’t get me wrong, I love to travel. Just not by car. Or when I have to plan it myself.
Geography is not my thing.
Seeing as it was only 2:30 and it didn’t seem like a proper time to open wine (and no one was available to come over), I decided I needed a little retail therapy.
While in college my freshman year, I started dating a fun new guy and found my geography class relegated to the back burner. They could have told me Arizona was in Dubai for all I cared. And (fortunately) the relationship lasted only as long as the class but (unfortunately) I still don’t know where all the states are.
So even though geography is not my thing, headbands are.
I can easily say I will never have enough headbands. Especially gorgeous vintage looking headbands. And, although I’m a jewelry designer, apparently I also needed some jewels. And a manicure.
Thank you Anthro. While you break my bank account, you save my sanity.
So for now, I’m headed to Mississippi. I think that’s off to the right. Hopefully there is an Anthropologie there.
